Nelson G. Navarrete

Is a multifaceted artist specializing in film direction and production. The music videos he directed featuring rappers such as Canserbero and Lil Supa have more than one billion views on YouTube. His feature documentary, A la Calle, was distributed by HBO Max in 2020 and allowed him to join the Producers Guild of Ameríca. It also earned him an Emmy Award nomination in the category: Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary - 2022. Nelson, is a Co-founder at Buscando America and, as part of this collective, is currently developing his first feature film to be financed by NFTs.

Alex Ulises

Is a Colombian Cinematographer and Director, based in Medellín, Colombia. He has worked as Director of Photography at VIPASSANA, a short film official competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Alex has also worked as Director and Creative for music labels such as Universal, Warner and Sony, writing and directing music videos for renowned Latin artists such as Maluma, J Balvin, Akapellah, and many more; achieving over two billion views in aggregate. Alex, is a Co-founder at Buscando Ameríca and, as part of this collective,  is currently developing his first feature film to be financed by NFTs

J.N. Silva

Is a Venezuelan visual artist. He is a photographer and educator. His career includes advertising photography for major brands, street photography, portraits, live concerts, and aerial photography. He has successfully created and fostered communities in different media. His entry into the NFT world produced a historic change in the photographic community because he linked hundreds of artists to the NFT scene, through his artist collective, Animus. JN is a founding member of Buscando Ameríca, and one of its mentors.

JESUS PEÑA

Jesus is a Mexican-American producer based in San Francisco, California, with a successful career in film and commercials. Notably, he managed the critically acclaimed "Dolores," which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. With a track record of producing notable projects involving figures like Carlos Santana, Hillary Clinton, and Stephen Curry, he has also made significant contributions to advertising and commercial ventures for clients such as Google, Apple, and Facebook.

Production Team

Sebastian Mejía, Daniel Mejía, and Andres Vega are three producers specialized in audiovisual communication, with a degree from the Politécnico J.I.C University, in Medellín Colombia. Their expertise includes location and field management, as well as film production. They are known for their high performance teamwork and commitment to the highest performance standards in the industry. Their experience spans 7 feature films, 8 short films, 4 documentaries and more than 60 projects, including music videos and advertising media. In 2021, the crew began working on the pre-production stage of Buscando Ameríca's first feature film, helping the team bring its vision to life, while integrating the immersive and interactive community aspects of Web3 to this project.

Tomall

Tomall is an English artist, creative, and art director with over 20 years of experience in the design field. He has made his mark in the industry as the creative lead on campaigns for established brands, including Jordan, Nike, NBA, and NFT platforms like Dapper Labs with NBA Top shot, NFL All Day and UFC Strike. Tomall's work has not only impressed his clients but has also garnered recognition from his peers in the design community. Tomall is a founding member of Buscando Ameríca and one of its earliest supporters.

Dos

DOS is a Colombian-born, NYC-raised designer and marketer specializing in branding, graphic design & web development. His early experience comes from the hospitality, event planning, and cannabis industries, and recent clients he’s worked with include Lego, Jordan, and Puma. DOS’ latest venture is in the web3/NFT space. In August 2021 he launched CryptoRayRays, an NFT project dedicated to his beloved dog, Ray - which has now become part of web3 culture. He has also been involved with projects like Vinnie Hager’s “Letters” and a few others.

Disrupt3rs

Disrupt3rs, a legal tech and fundraising solution for transmedia projects that supports creators like Buscando Ameríca with customizable digital contracts, peer-to-peer engagement and crowdfunding strategies in Web3. They promote financial literacy for creative entrepreneurs. Natalia Velez started automating contracts in 2008. She is specialized in corporate and international tax law and is currently part of the senior leadership group at Riot Games. Maria Jimena Londono is a dual-licensed attorney specialized in high-growth fintechs and has worked for some of the top tier law firms in New York and Colombia, including Clifford Chance and Proskauer Rose. Laura Rodriguez has worked at leading Colombian Law Firms with a specialty in international trade and antitrust law. She also currently works at one of the top production/digital media/creative agencies in Colombia.
